I am close to buying a new Surface Laptop. I am looking at the 13 inch with X1 elite and 64gb of ram for doing photo and video editing. Anyone out there with one of these and what are your thoughts on it?
I am sure it's going to do much better than my current laptop with i7 1165G7 and 64gb of ram now.
Thanks they are going for a good price on ms refurbished right now. See if it's still there when I'm ready. If not I will get a new 15 inch when they get the x2 extreme chip. Thanks for the info again.

I set up System One and System Two so that they work identically. Both run Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation, Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom, Visual Studio 2026, PowerShell, all the same apps that run on System One. Since they both log in to Microsoft 365, they both run the same Microsoft Office Suite, and both run the same OneDrive. Therefore, the two computers are exact functional duplicates of each other including working with exactly the same data in real-time. It's totally transparent which computer I'm using. I can move from one computer to the other and everything is the same in real-time.
