I have AT&T fiber internet. When I use their handy Smart Home phone app to check my wifi and internet, it offers ActiveArmor. Does anyone know anything about this?

I get my cell service from another provider, not AT&T.

Is it just for the phone?
Does it run on the computer or device or in the fiber modem?
Not clear from the blurb on the app.

Hey RD Mercer.. (Love the name by the way) The only way that AT&T Active Armor would slow down your phone is if you enable the VPN that is within the AT&T Active Armor app. There are alot of good fundamental things that CAN BE DONE with Active Armor, but if you already use a VPN then dont worry about using that. Plus, the VPN doesnt hide your IP Address if you are connected to your Home WiFi, I think it just masks your browsing history only. The performance of the App is subpar and it can be a nuisance at times.

Yes , AT&T CELL subscribers, not land line. Internet, I don't know but doubt it.
