Apps run over the taskbar

What i'm trying to tell is as you see on the screenshot, file explorer is over the taskbar. It's valid for all the other apps and in Windows 10, it was not like this. Is there a setting to prevent this? I want the taskbar always on top.

Mine don't do it but your image suggests the possibility of some customization such as a third-party Start menu.

I think it's under Taskbar Settings. Try right clicking on the Taskbar. There is an option to automatically hide the Taskbar. Look to see if it's selected. I'm using StartAllBack so getting to that setting is different.

Perhaps your display driver has been corrupted. There is no test for this.
I suggest you go to Acer support and re-download then re-install your display driver even if it is the same version as the one you have already.

It's because you have changed certain apps to run maximized rather than manually setting the parameters of their windows.

Right click file explorer shortcut, right click again on file explorer within the popup, select properties, under 'run as' make sure it it set to normal window NOT maximized. First drag the window into the frame by grabbing the title bar with your mouse. Then size your window by positioning your mouse on its edges until you see a double ended arrow. Drag the edges to desired size, keeping it within the confines of the space above the taskbar.
The computer will remember whatever size you make it the next time you open the app.

Do the same thing for any other app that overlaps the taskbar.

as @Winuser try going to taskbar settings- taskbar behaviours and tick the box for Automatically hide the taskbar then once hidden untick the box.
