Asus Aura - can I delete these?

I have an Asus ROG keyboard, and installed Aura Sync to set the RGB colours.
The software installed lots of things I don't need, so is it safe to delete these folders?
Some of these are running as background processes. None of them are listed in Apps settings nor Add/Remove programs

It's better you uninstall any program, deleting folders can cause problems.

Just deleting some folders could possibly break Aura Sync.

Before you start dissecting Aura Sync, make a fresh backup. THEN you can experiment with folder deletion.
Once you have a fresh backup, and have made the backup software's bootable rescue media, you can pretty much... try anything. If things don't work right afterwards... just restore from your backup.

Brian, the SDK is vital to the app. IF it's deleted you'll have to reinstall the program.
Why not just End Task in Task Manager instead and see if the ones you ended will
harm the program. If one does, you'll have to restart.

I recall messing about with my ASUS X570 and uninstalling Aura Sync just to eliminate a variable during an attempt at an OC that refused to happen. (Eventually, I settled on 4.2 GHz but that's immaterial.) Because of the nature of the software I don't advise permanently uninstalling it; but that's me. I can't prove that removing it will upset other programs on your PC but the fact that Aura Sync is made to synchronize with so much other functionality on your PC at the software level should provide some clue as to how significant it is.

There's also good old, MSCONFIG. You could try shutting it off in there using selective startup but I'm thinking you'll likely be going back to using it like I did.

Old post but a quick update:

I did a Registry search for "AACsetup" which is the app that installs all this stuff. I found the uninstall strings for them and put them in a Run box one by one.
Result: All these RGB HALs are now gone, with the exception of the keyboard one that I've kept, and obviously the main program and SDK.
Keyboard colour is as I want it (blue static).
If only the Aura software scanned the hardware first and only installed what was needed, but that's for another day.
