Hey, so I can only find drivers for my Asus Prime Z390-A dating back to 2021 on Asus driver page, is this normal practice for older motherboards? Also I see all the links you have here and wonder if there's more recent drivers I can download and if so, why wouldn't they be on the driver page?

Hi,

Mainly because your motherboard has been EoL since mid-2021 (in any case, even for current motherboards, the firmware/drivers I offer are very often more recent than what is offered on the motherboards support pages).

You need these firmware/drivers for your ASUS PRIME Z390-A motherboard :

- Intel Chipset Drivers

- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only)

- Intel SATA AHCI-RAID Drivers (Drivers Only) :
Drivers - 2xx/3xx

- Intel Ethernet Drivers (Drivers Only) :
DDrivers - I217/I218/I219

You have an ASUS PRIME DTS Headphone:X v1 motherboards, so :
You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS HPXv1) from the first post of the thread.
Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
Thanks! Do you have any tips or knowledge on troubleshooting/fixing? So when I log on my PC, it's kind of stuttery and I get a black screen for a second, then it's back to normal. It's just that some settings in Nvidia control panel, Afterburner etc NEVER sticks, and it might affect performance in games etc. I suspect maybe it's chipset drivers and iGPU or PCIe lane being messed up. I don't know exactly when the issue started happening, but maybe in early 2021. Tried other GPUs, completely fresh Windows 11 install etc.
