OS
Windows 10 and Windows 11
So Have PC with like 4 SSD drives and one HDD . This is disk configuration:
DISKPART> list disk

Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt
-------- ------------- ------- ------- --- ---
Disk 0 Online 931 GB 1024 KB *
Disk 1 Online 238 GB 0 B
Disk 2 Online 476 GB 0 B *
Disk 3 Online 5589 GB 1024 KB *
Disk 4 Online 238 GB 0 B *

where disk 2 is windows 10 which booting just fine and disk 4 is new windows 11 disk. So I booted up PC with Ventoy usb drive , used ISO image which is tested multiple time , modified ISO image to bypass windows 11 install requirements , This ISO is used to install stand alone windows 11 on some older computers without TPM2 and it working just fine. So started install from ISO image windows 11 22H2 pro and first step of copying windows files and so on passed without any problem , and it need to restart so clicked restart and then got error "File missing or damaged file Winload.exe 0xc000000f" . Still by hitting F9 which will attempt to boot another operating system , I managed to get back in to windows 10. Then from windows 10 enabled dual boot and 15 seconds wait time for boot. After that time still when select windows 11 getting same error while windows 10 working. Tried few things more but most important thing I tried is to create fat32 100MB efi partition on same disk where is windows 11. and used BCDBOOT to recreate UEFI boot on that partition, and removed temporary assigned diver letter. Still when attempt to boot windows 11 it gives same error.

And my only boot disk from all disks is
list volume

Volume ### Ltr Label Fs Type Size Status Info
---------- --- ----------- ----- ---------- ------- --------- --------
Volume 0 E Game Disk 1 NTFS Partition 931 GB Healthy Pagefile
Volume 1 F game 256 NTFS Partition 238 GB Healthy
Volume 2 C NTFS Partition 476 GB Healthy Boot
Volume 3 Recovery NTFS Partition 529 MB Healthy Hidden
Volume 4 FAT32 Partition 100 MB Healthy System
Volume 5 D BackUp NTFS Partition 5589 GB Healthy Pagefile
Volume 6 G win11 NTFS Partition 238 GB Healthy
Volume 7 FAT32 Partition 101 MB Healthy Hidden

Wondering should volume 6 also be marked as boot , but at my knowledge that is not case. As well any attempt to use bootmgr fixing commands is something I did not want to try because kinda afraid and quite sure that it will render my working windows 10 like not working anymore.

What I can do to make machine dual boot correctly in both windows 10 and 11. Bios is set to boot in UEFI mode only , so no legacy support. Any help would be nice.
It is not option to use only windows 11 since it have to migrate a lot of things from windows 10 to 11 and something might not work on win 11 as it works on win10 so need to keep win10. Thank you in advance.

If you don't disconnect the Win 10 drive while installing Win 11, it will install Win 11 in one drive and the win 11 boot manager on the Fat32 EFI partition on Win 10 drive.

As you just did the Win 11 install, it would be easy to you to reinstall making sure ALL other drives are disconnected from the MB. The Win 11 drive will be completely self boot able.
Once Win 11 is working, you can then attach the other drives and set the boot priority drive on BIOS (win 10 or Win 11) and can select the other drive to boot from by launching the boot menu (F12?) during post.
Then, if you wish, you can add the Win 11 option to the Win 10 boot manager.

Windows can be installed in two ways: Legacy-MBR or UEFI-GPT
To install as Legacy-MBR you must boot the installation drive (Ventoy usb drive) as Legacy
To install as UEFI-GPT you must boot the installation drive (Ventoy usb drive) as UEFI.

As you have a UEFI BIOS, you should install as UEFI-GPT
Detach any other drives (SATA or Power cable) from the MB.

During POST, press F12(?) to launch the boot menu. You will see two options for the USB drive. USB UEFI (Name) and USB (Name). Select USB UEFI (Name) to install as UEFI-GPT.
Go to install and delete ALL partitions on the main drive till you have one and only one unallocated space and then proceed.
If you want to use a local account What is "oobe\bypassnro"

"File missing or damaged file Winload.exe 0xc000000f"

indicates it is attempting to load in bios mode and bootmgr cant find winload.exe.

Most frequent cause is incorrect bcd entry so bootmgr is looking in the wrong place. Occasionally there is some damage to \windows\system32\winload.exe. Or possibly \Windows\System32\en-US\winload.exe.mui

not clear why that is if you are using gpt with an esp partition, it should be trying to boot in efi mode.

Probably booted the Ventoy usb drive as Legacy so it installed Win 11 as Legacy- MBR

Nope ,ventoy botted in uefi mode, and it's not possible to boot any legacy mode aka mbr as in bios it is boot only UEFI.

You are very right. All what you say is already inside my poor old brain. It was just onee thing I was not sure , and that is question will I be able to sort dual boot later after i perform clean win11 install on one and only active drive in my PC. Just been lazzy to go onder desk and do the job. Will try it later next week. Little vacation going on from tomorrow. Thank you.

The way I do it I do offline disk in diskpart in order to let the new install make its own efi partition and boot twice to do that etc because the windows setup is made ina a way to not respect all these things.

It's weird how Microsoft manage this OS project of theirs. Weirdos.

My life is workarounds for computing problems created by wrong decisions of weird people.

Very happy.

On BIOS you can set the other SATA ports to disable so you don't need to open the case and detach SATA or Power cable.
If you have the OS on a M.2 drive you have to find out if you can disable it on BIOS.

I love when I see same spelling or grammar mistakes I make when using English. Thank you even I know that it never came in to my head, so very nice reminder.
