Yeah, but that's really no comparison as they can't compete with that setup in both power and sound quality. You would say the same if you upgraded the DAC.

My buddy sold his Stream Deck to me for $100CAD. Not sure if I really need one but I am playing with it right now and setting it up.
It's cool. Each button have it's own LCD screen. You can add still photos or animated GIF as background.
So far, I have my favorite Spotify playlists assigned to their own buttons.

It's basically a macro pad created for gamers and streamers but it's only a quarter of what you can do with it. You can create tons of macros with it that reduces keyboard and mouse clicks. My main purpose for getting this, even though it is just an impulse purchase from my friend is to control my music (or media) in general. And create shorcuts for copy-paste and other keyboard combination commands, launching programs, etc.

Found a few of my old components rotting away in the basement!
Lost the tape deck and CD player though!
(Made me cry a bit!!!)

I'd have to go through my garage pull everything out of their boxes to show mine off. But my list includes (in good working order, and in their original boxes) ...

Adcom GFA-555 II (the triple nickel) Power Amp (200watts 8ohm/300watt 6ohm a channel)
Carver TFM-35 Power Amp (250watt per channel or 700 mono)
Rotel Surround Sound Pre-Amp RSP-1066
Rotel CD Player RCD-1072
Rotel Phono Amp RQ-970BX
Denon Turntable DP-47F
Pioneer CD Recorder PDR-509 - A very good CD player as well as recorder. It's what I used to record my vinyl to CD's :)

Had a pair of Allison acoustics speakers but they dried rotted, so they went in the trash.

That's the last system I had up before boxing it away. Have other stuff as well, example a Phillips DCC Recorder DCC 900. It's similar to a cassette tape deck except it uses Digital Compact Cassettes (though it will play and record traditional cassettes). The sound quality is with the DCC cassettes though. It never really took off in the U.S. though it was big in Japan. You can see what it looks with along with the cassettes it used. Mine is pretty much new as I only used it for about a month before putting it away. I actually got it for $80 bucks new as the military exchange I got it from was ridding its stock of them. As I said, it never really took off in the U.S.

BTW Adcom still makes the 555 with their latest iteration GFA-555se. The Triple Nickel (what owners called it) really is a legend.

Saw the drum post and thought I could contribute. Most of what I listen to these days is probably out of most wheelhouses but enjoy some jazz fusion prog metal.
