For the record I pursue audiophile CD's and vinyl as well, but I'm nowhere near that deep into the purity of it :eek1:

Anyway, there's a whole 32+page thread here: Mobile Fidelity cutting from digital since 2015? As an audiophile myself, I get it, but it's still kind of funny to me. As I said there... if the recording is good, it shouldn't matter where the source came from.

    Using W11 OS on customers' computers more and more often, and sometimes on my mum's new laptop.
@TizianoMad, I don't have any Chemical Brothers, never got into them, but know of them.

@Edwin, you don't need to understand the tech to understand he's crying about the fact that Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) marketing hype led him to believe was their releases were remastered from the original analogue tapes, not digital copies. Its why analogue purists sort them. To hear now that this may not be true (since 2015), is sending shock waves to those who bought them. As he laments, he "despises digital" because he doesn't feel it's always quality.

As I said, there's a huge thread over at Steve Hoffman forums, but yeah, if you're not into that the video is meaningless. Anyway, I'll just stick to the forums there for my audio discussions as not many here are into a lot of the discussions there.

BTW, I have that second song in the video - Cassandra Wilson's "Dance to the Drummer Again". I love deep bass drums there. Nice compilation of music in that video.
