Win ver: 24H2 OS Build 4946

I am downloading a lengthy programme and would like to prevent an automatic shut down.
Assistance appreciated.

You mean sleep, I assume? The PC should never shut down without you telling it to.

@pseymour Many thanks for prompt reply. I did not mean sleep. If I have a programme running after a length of time it closes.
i am under the impression that this is a power saving in Win 11.

That’s not normal, for a program to close. It may be crashing. But even if Windows sleeps, it doesn’t close the program (shutdown, sure it does).
