I've used avidemux on Linux for ages so I was surprised that there is a good Windows version -- installed and works brilliantly on W11 -- wanted to convert as losslessly as possible from m2ts to mkv / mp4. Handbrake is a bit slow but avidemux works really fast

The mkv file plays perfectly also in the standard TV/Films app too .
