I saw this, and wondered if many here have noticed. Lots of us build, re-build, modify, and upgrade our Windows 11 PCs. We couldn't help but notice ram prices, SSD shortages and delays in shipping from Amazon around the holidays. Now this . . .

AWS (Amazon Web Services) is the commercial web hosting service of Amazon. They don't sell GPU's, but rent out server capacity for companies who want to run apps in the cloud. GPU's are popular for AI-based apps, which is the rage in corporate business.

Well, Amazon, like ANY business, can raise (or lower) their prices at will, and unfortunately, there's absolutely squat anyone can do about it (unless they somehow violate some commerce law or regulation)...

The article is talking about hourly rates being increased for EC2 Capacity Blocks for ML. I doubt anyone here at Eleven Forum needs that technology currently to run Windows 11 and their favourite game?
