Best budget-friendly way to get Windows 11 Pro for home use?

Hi everyone,


I’m currently running Windows 10 Pro and considering upgrading to Windows 11 Pro for my home PC. I know Microsoft sells it directly, but the price feels a bit high for personal use.


I’ve seen people mention third-party sellers online, but I’m not sure which sources are reliable and which ones to avoid. Some sites, like SoftwareKey4U, seem to offer genuine keys at lower prices, but I wanted to check if anyone here has tried that route.


What’s the most affordable and safe way you’ve found to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro without risking activation issues in the future?

That upgrade will not cost you a penny, assuming that your current Win10 Pro is licensed.
Windows 10 Pro licence = Windows 11 Pro licence

Upgrades are free.

He means guys, he's on Windows Home and there is an added cost to upgrade to Windows Pro.

@Try3 is correct. But you mentioned Home in your thread so your intent can be misconstrued. To clarify:

10pro to 11pro upgrade will automatically license with existing 10Pro digital key.
If the machine in question currently runs 10Home, you would first upgrade 10Home to 11Home. To get to Pro, you would need a Pro license which would be entered afterward to go from 11Home to 11Pro.

The OP mentioned home not Home. The place where the computer will be used.

And GHacks offers good deals sometimes . That's how I got mine.

This site has a great deal right now, and they're very reputable. They are quite well known and active on another forum.

This one is better

I needed a Win11 Pro key for my laptop to upgrade from Home to Pro. I found a place that had a sale for $1.39, and impossible price. Since it was such a small number, I figured I'd just shoot the dice and see what I got.


They delivered a Win11 Pro Retail key that activated properly and caused no issues.

Beware of places that are selling OEM keys and Volume License keys.



A little more expensive now, but still pretty good price at $2.80 in the US.
