Best laptop browser (power efficiency)

A few years ago Microsoft touted Edge as the most power efficient browser. I believe both Chrome and Firefox have improved as well. However, I was curious if anyone knew of data that showed the power efficiency of Firefox vs. Chrome. I have used Firefox for a while now on both desktop and laptop, but have found it definitely uses more RAM than Chrome (a lot of it from a process called "GPU"). Of these two browsers, anyone have thoughts on whether they are the same when it comes to affecting laptop battery life or one is better than the other.

I think Chrome still retains the crown of Resource Hog!

I think the point is moot or at least the difference is going to be insignificant. RAM uses very little power, CPU isn't a ton either. Your screen draws far more power than a single app every will.
