Black screen with cursor

I have a Dell Vostro with Windows 11, version 22H2 . when I try to turn on my PC to log into windows, the log in screen shows as just black screen with cursor, the same issue is happened after two or three months . Please guide how to fix the issue.

Remove all external drives and attempt to boot.

In bios, make sure your OS drive is first in boot order.

Not to say there can't be other things that cause a black screen with blinking curser, but all the cases in which I have seen it has been a defective drive.

I just uninstalled the latest quality update (after going to startup settings by holding left shift while starting up) and it fixed this problem.
