OS
W11 Pro
So my PC is not officially supported but been running W11 since the start of testing with no issues at all. Never had a crash, graphic glitch or anything!

Anyway thought I'd try swapping to beta rather than keeping on Dev, now the official release has arrived - clicked the option, rebooted and.... empty WIP screen.png

So now no matter what I do - trying all the 'fixes' mentioned here, there and everywhere - I can't get any options back....

Help!

One issue I can see is to go from the Dev to Beta or any other channel is you have to perform a clean instillation of 11. You simply can't move from one to the other since the Dev is beyond the others.

Pretty sure it was a release from MS that said kind of 'do it now or never again will you get the chance' (or words to that effect) no? If it wasn't an option how did i click the radio button?

In any case I see LOADS of people with a similar problem even though they moved from one level to another. Also when I tried the various 'fixes' to move the system back to Dev it still didn't reappear?

Like I said previously.. to go from the Dev to Beta/RP or Final you need to do a clean instillation since the dev is past the others update wise. This has nothing to do with the compatibility of your device or not.

Keeping my fingers crossed but feeling a forced re-install of the Release version is on the cards... maybe time to up the size of the M2 SSD boot drive size in my Dell AIO at the same time (something else that is also apparently 'not possible' but works absolutely fine LOL). So much for sustainability - it's all about trying to force you to buy a new machine.... sigh.

You don't have to buy a new device. Windows 10 will be around for four more years.

Well.. you will have to perform a clean instillation to do that and I would be careful because your device isn't compliant.

Yep - there are workarounds as clearly I have no issues - Microsoft just insisting on TPM 2.0, which is hilarious really as it's already outdated anyway... but ho hum!
