Blank space in front of file names, List view?

Windows 11, file explorer: I was viewing files in list view, selected a few, and accidentally clicked Copy as Path (I was aiming for Properties and missed). Now, ALL my files and folders in List view have this weird blank space in front of them. It's the size and place that a green circle check or blue cloud outline would appear in Onedrive files, but these are not OneDrive folders, just local stuff. What did I do and how can I go back? Thanks!

I turned them on and off, that did not fix it. Even with checkboxes on, there is still a gap:

Does it also occur in the Details view?

If not wanting the other columns in Details view they can be deselected by right-clicking the first one to the right of Name [it can't be changed] and uncheck the columns not wanted.

No it does NOT occur in Details view. Details view works fine. In Details they line up with no spaces. "List" view is the problem.

I normally use Details View on my 3 Win11 computers, 2 Pro [Desktop and Notebook] and 1 Home [Desktop], all RTM, and they show the same on List View so I'd say it's a design thing, not actually a function problem. But then if I were any more OCD I'd be all over Microsoft about it after going through the Insider Preview forums for any information about the testers seeing the same.

Yeah, I like details view also, most of the time, unless it's a folder with 200+ items. Then I prefer a clean List view. This is super frustrating and I can't find a good way to phrase the problem... all the articles and Forums from Google searches just tell me how to switch between List and Details.

Actually the same problem shows in the "Small Icons" view.... so Small Icons + List. Everything else is good.

My Win11 computers [2 Pro and 2 Home] do the same when setting to List and Small Icons view on the toolbar, have not made any other changes.

In the tree list (navigation pane) right click a blank space under all entries and select expand to current folder.
