My system (Win 11 ver 21H2 build 22000.318) always shows a device ready to eject, just like if I had a USB key plugged in.
In this case it is showing Bluetooth ready to eject.
Screenshot 2021-11-15 015331.jpg
My Bluetooth is supported on an Intel WiFi AX210 adapter.
Any info on how I can get BT off the eject list.

Yeah, that's strange. See if removing the driver and having Windows reinstall upon restart of your system does anything. If not you might just avoid hitting eject. Still, it would be annoying to see all the time.

If it is a USB Bluetooth dongle, this is normal. Also any SATA hard disk that is set to hot plug in BIOS should be rejectable as well, even if this it the Windows boot drive!

I gather from the OP that this isn't a USB dongle. It's also an issue the OP wants to eradicate. It's a strange problem.

Some drivers make Bluetooth device appear as a removable device and hence the issue. He must change drivers. If anything else fails, you can also try IVT Blue Soleil (or similar) Bluetooth Suite. It replaces standard Bluetooth drivers and gives you a control panel with many Bluetooth functions. I used that in Windows XP and 7 when the default drivers would not detect my Bluetooth speakers properly.

Unfortunately, the last stable release was in 2018. I'm a bit wary of loading that up on Win 11. I'll have to give this more thought.

It seems that on certain Intel WiFi adapters that the BT is implemented as a USB connection. In my experience and checking, the following Intel WiFi adapters have a USB Bluetooth implementation: Some of these are: AC8265, AC9260, AX200, AX210. These adapters will work on systems with an AMD or an Intel CPU. The specs for these adapters show they use these system interfaces:
Screenshot 2021-11-16 091124.jpg
Note the BT(USB)

There are other adapters which will only work or work correctly with some of the more recent Intel CPUs. Some of these are: AC9560, AX201, AX211. Their specs show the following interfaces:
Screenshot 2021-11-16 090955.jpg
From what I can find out, the CNVio interface is where the adapter uses part of the CPU to process some data, probably BT, but who knows and I'm not going to look any further at that.

My thoughts are that the Bluetooth on some adapters is implemented via a USB connection. In the past this has been well hidden but now for some reason this is showing up as a temporary connection. My thoughts on those reasons is that this could be due to Win 11 or a change in the way Intel writes the BT drivers.

If you accidentally eject the adapter, you won't have access to Bluetooth. If you disable the Bluetooth in Device Manager and enable it again, you should get access back. I'm not sure if enabling flight mode and disable it would also work. In worst case you would have to restart your PC. You can also hide the icon and just ignore it.

I tried some of your suggestions.
Using Device Manager to disable the BT removes the the ability to Eject it.
If I eject it then I get the following message in DM.
Windows cannot use this hardware device because it has been prepared for "safe removal" but it has not been removed from the computer. (Code 47)
To fix this problem, unplug this device from your computer and then plug it in again.
If you then try to disable then enable in DM you are then up for a reboot to recover. I better make sure I don't accidentally eject it.

Refer my original post and view the image. It is not the BT icon which appears on the taskbar when BT is active. It is part of the temporary devices eject system and is always there when you go to eject a USB key or a portable disk or a . . .

My board is an MSI X299 XPOWER GAMING AC. Bluetooth does work perfectly on it though.
My board is MPG-Z590M GAMING EDGE WIFI and the WiFi driver is V22.80.1.1 dated 12 Sep 21 and the BT driver is V22.80.0.4 dated 26 Aug 21.
My ref. was the Intel Driver and Support Assistant which shows the drivers are up to date. The Device Manager shows the same versions and dates.
What version and date drivers do you have?

I was referring to the device safe remove icon, not the Bluetooth icon. If it distracts you, just hide it. You can still access it by clicking to show the remaining icons next to the clock.

My system (Win 11 ver 21H2 build 22000.318) always shows a device ready to eject, just like if I had a USB key plugged in.
In this case it is showing Bluetooth ready to eject.
View attachment 13589
My Bluetooth is supported on an Intel WiFi AX210 adapter.
Any info on how I can get BT off the eject list.
Quoting from my Original Post which is shown above.
Any info on how I can get BT off the eject list.
It is not the the Eject icon on the taskbar that is the problem. It is BT being listed as an object to be ejected. Being on the list has the potential to disable BT until a reboot or a re-install.

BT: Driver Date: 2021-08-26 Version: 22.80.0.4 File version: 10.0.22000.1 (Win Build:160101.0800)
Wi-fi: Driver Date: 2021-09-12 Version: 22.80.1.1
Even with older drivers it was still showing as an ejectable device.
