Bluetooth earpods

I have just started using Soundpeats Bluetooth earpods, I have them paired to three devices, my Garmin watch, Huawei phone and Laptop, they all work perfectly when connected to the devices, but is it normal to have to pair them again when you change from one device to the other?

In my experience with Bluetooth, it still needs a lot of work. On my desktops I tried a couple of different Bluetooth mice, and they had the same results. They would work ok for a while and then out of nowhere they would start lagging. With my Bluetooth headphones and earphones, I would constantly have to pair them again to the computer. Even the connection from my Samsung phone to my car stereo is a pain at times. For example, to stream from Spotify on my phone to my radio I have to sometimes restart the radio and/or phone. Even using voice dialing doesn't always work and I have to restart the radio and phone to get it working again.
