Bluetooth problem with phone only

Hi, so im having a problem with my Bluetooth specifically getting my phone to connect to the pc through Bluetooth. Other devices work but the phone just won't. It will pair, connect for a few seconds then say disconnected. I also noticed this in my device manager. Is there a fix for this because it doesn't seem to be a driver issue since i reinstalled it multiple times. Here's a picture of the device manager problem i noticed.

Obtaining Hardware ID's to help Identify Hardware
- Go to Start and type in "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Expand the "Unknown Device" category by clicking on the + sign to the left of it
- Right click on the "Unknown device" (if there's more than one, do this for all of them) and select Properties.
- Then select the Details tab.
- In the dropdown box, select "Hardware IDs" - and match the info to one of the following descriptions:
- - If the Hardware IDs description contains VEN_ and DEV_, then let us know the 4 characters immediately after the VEN_ and the 4 characters immediately after the DEV_
this is a PCI device and we'll look up the information at http://www.pcidatabase.com
- - If the Hardware IDs description contains VID_ and PID_, then let us know the 4 characters immediately after the VID_ and the 4 characters immediately after the PID_
this is a USB device and we'll look up the information at http://www.linux-usb.org/usb.ids
If you don't have those items in the Hardware IDs description, copy down the entire string of the first entry and include that with your next post.

That is as far as I got with Bluetooth and my Phone(S25), Bluetooth mice etc work fine but not the Phone.

What did work is Phone Link, and Link to Windows on the Phone.

What shows in Device Manager under Other devices is of no consequence, you already know you are not connected hence the ?

More recent attempts shows 3 Local security authority processes taking top position in Task Manager CPU usage. No idea what that means.

The same hardware id appears for all 5 items

Also on my laptop im able to hold a connection. The only difference is mediatek vs intel wifi and bt. Also I tried my steam controller 2 and that connects fine

As for link for windows, it uses my mobile data when im not using wifi not bt

Have installed the Bluetooth driver from intel website.

You can also install missing drivers from computer manufacturer website.

They really want you to use their app. My phone will pair with my watch, truck and my earbuds but not my PC via bluetooth, It won't stay paired. The app works.


USB connection with cable still works. I've copied at least a hundred ripped CD's to my android phone that way
