Issue with Bluetooth Drivers

Hi,
Recently I've been struggling with updating the drivers for my Intel Bluetooth adapter. The problems started when Bluetooth decided to disable itself in Device Manager and I had to uninstall then reinstall to re-enable. Now I 'm struggling to update the drivers for it. Like many times before I downloaded the drivers from Intel and installed them the normal way but now the driver version number never seems to show the updated version.
Any idea of what might be happening?

Here is what I would try.

1. First I would see if Intel Driver Support Assistant can straighten it out? I use it to keep my BT & wireless drivers updated. You do not have to create an Intel account to use it. It also keeps Proset updated. Intel® Driver & Support Assistant

2.. If Intel Driver Support Assistant doesn't straighten out your Proset software, Use Revo Uninstaller Free to remove the old Intel Proset. Then use the "SCAN" feature of Revo to remove all the leftover stuff Revo finds. Restart

3.. Reinstall Proset Download Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Wi-Fi Drivers

I've tried everyting you suggested but it didnt appear to work as expected.

Intel DSA didnt work initially and gave me the same results as I had already seen.

Revo Uninstaller did not show the Intel Pro software, all I could see was Intel Wireless Bluetooth. I uninstalled that and then unisntalled both the wireless adapter and bluetooth using device manager clicking on uninstall drivers at the same time.

Rebooted a couple of times and then ran Intel DSA again which installed both drivers. Strangely though the bluetooth driver date is 10/11/2025 version 24.10.0.4 and the online version here is newer. Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® Drivers for Windows® 10 and Windows 11*

Still not seeing the Intel pro-set software on my PC, am I missing something?

Is your Wifi adapter by chance a AX200 or AX1650? That 24.20.3 BT driver was mistakenly put out by intel to those Wifi cards and it's incompatible. The correct latest Bluetooth driver for them is 24.10.0.4

Yes I have the AX-200.
Lol, that's what I thought. I have the AX1650 and jumped through a bunch of hoops like you did trying to install that incompatible driver before I found a Intel support thread about Intel mistakenly linking the incorrect driver. The 24.20.3 only supports the newer BE200 and similar Wifi adapters.
