Recently I tried to connect my Samsung A15 phone running Android 16 to my PC using bluetooth. Using the Add Device of the Bluetooth and Devices section the phone gets discovered and connects for a few seconds and then disconnects. I've tried most of the things I can find on line to overcome this but to no affect.

However, the curious thing is that while both the PC and Phone say they are disconnected I can still send and receive files between them using bluetooth.

Since its working its ok but I'm just interested to know why they both say disconnected.

I have an S25 and exactly the same thing happens with Bluetooth, can't get connected. The Bluetooth versions are at least 5.2 for both bits of hardware. Several brands of Bluetooth mice are OK no problems.
However, the curious thing is that while both the PC and Phone say they are disconnected I can still send and receive files between them using bluetooth.
That will be via USB connection or Network/WAP, that works for mine. That is not via Bluetooth.

No, the transfers are definitely through Bluetooth. There is no usb connection nor Wap in use.
