i tryed the standard method to add a website to bookmark bar but it does'nt work.

Click and drag the address bar contents to the bookmark bar. In some browsers, you have to click and drag the padlock icon at the left of the address bar.

if i drag and drop it pulls the whole tab off the top of the page.tryed pressing ctrl+d .chose bookmarks bar. but it got sent to hidden bookmarks folder.

Don't drag the Tab, highlight the address in the URL bar and drag that to the Bookmarks Bar!
Click Edit to send it to another folder.
