As the tittle says, I was in need of a flash drive as I used my last one to back up the
recovery image for this notebook Not the monthly backups with Macrium.
I finally went with this one but, the 250 GB:

Had one of their older model and it served me well but, Samsung came along and well,
I used those until now.
So, as most of us do, I had to see if the claims that Patriot made were true or close.
These are my findings.
The first screen is with a Gen 2 port strait up, no caching The second one is with a Gen 1 port but, with caching.
I then copied a folder of music that is 2.9 GBs to the drive.
The next screens will show the speeds at which the file was copied from my T7.
The third screen is copying the file with Gen 1 port and no caching.
The fourth one is Gen 1 with caching.
The last one is Gen 2 port and right out of the box with no caching.
At those speeds , it is very hard to get a screen but, after a few tries I did
manage to get these.
Patriot were not lying about the speed of their drive.
I have to move big files sometimes and this will make things much easier
and simpler for me.
What do you think and would other tests be more representative of their ads.
