Box on desktop icons.

A box appeared on the desktop icons that I didn't see before, as if the icons were being backed up, but I don't have OneDrive installed, I uninstall it when I finish formatting, because I don't use it, does anyone know what this icon is about?

I found an image online of the same icons.

1) Do you use shortcut arrows on your icons? If so, disable shortcut arrows and see if that helps.
2) Rebuild the icon cache.

Respectfully - it's a white box not a brown box, and he does not have One Drive installed.

No apology needed at all, but as you say OneDrive has been uninstalled but that is definitely a OneDrive icon unless another cloud storage program uses the same badge.

Just repeating what the OP says in his first post. He says he uninstalled One Drive. There is a slight possibility that one of my two suggestions in post #2 may work.
