BSOD 0x000000e

Sigh I guess while cleaning up my files I accidentally deleted a rather important one. I get the blue screen that your PC/Device needs to be repaired. A required device isn't connnected or can't be accessed. Error code 0x000000e. None of the options work, so I am creating a bootable usb.

However, how do I figure out what the missing file is on my C drive so I can replace it?

It's an HP.

On another pc, install Macrium Reflect (trial version is ok).

Create a bootable Macrium Rescue USB

Boot from it in your pc.

Please recheck the error code.
Was it
a) 0x000000e
b) 0xC000000E


Power on the computer and repetitively click F2 or F10 > run the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics > take pictures > post images displaying the tests performed with results.

Just FYI, the error happens for several reasons, Several are disk failure , file corruption, or deletion of files in the Boot Configuration Database (BCD) which includes files and parameters that help to boot Windows . I don't know what method of "cleanup" you use but stay away from C:\Windows\Boot. If you manually messed with that folder I'm surprised permissions allowed you unless you also changed permissions.
Note:That is the normal location of BCD. However the folder could have written to another drive if a secondary drive was connected when Windows was installed.

If you use some 3rd party app for cleanup, and it caused this problem for whatever reason, I suggest you find another app that is not so obtrusinve.
