Solved BSOD after plugging in HDMi adapter to laptop

Hi Zbook,

Just wanted to update you and thank you.
The advice you gave me in your first reply was bang on. I just don’t have enough technical know how to follow it. I went to HP and they talked me through it and it was exactly what you’d said!
Because of your advice, I had everything I needed when I called them, like a big enough flash drive. I had to download windows 11, like you’d said but there were a few technical things that I was not getting.

Anyway, up and running now.

Thanks so much for your help.

That's great.

You're welcome.

If HP had not already performed these steps consider:

1) Upgrading the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics: 8.7 > 10.5.1.0

2) Upgrading the BIOS: F.2 > F.3
