Issues for bluetooth device. I purchased this mouse in 2020 - maybe it has outlived itself. This morning stopped working as I was charging it. Hmmm. Seems odd. I switched to the USB connection and it works sporadically. It works then it stops even on that connection. I removed it thinking I could add it but system doesn't seem to see it. It is turned on. Back to the trackball feature which I am not fond of but it is working at least. Maybe a new mouse??? Is in order??? Thanks...23h2

3 to 4 years for a rechargeable device is not too bad. I have several Notebooks I use Bluetooth Mice on, mostly Targus and 1 Logitech and 1 Microsoft Sculpt, but they take the AA battery, haven't much trouble other than sometimes having to reconnect even though might be listed as Paired.

No BT devices here nor plans to ever add any. Cordless mice in general never last as long as corded ones for me. I use only Logitech and they start acting squirrelly at about 12-18 months. For me, rarely does a cordless mouse completely quit, but issues usually start with tiny quirks that tend to increase fairly quickly until the mouse acts completely crazy.
I always keep a good corded mouse on hand for emergencies.

Hi -I shut system down for about an hour - kind of a "time out"ha ha... when I turned back on -- voila!! Little mouse happy and working. I am puzzled by what happened. I tried charging - remove device - connect device - nothing! So time out and now ok. Thanks for your input.
Well not so fast - it just stopped working again - it showed up in BT devices - so I came here and now it does NOT show up in BT devices. As in KAPUT!!
The window for charging just came up saying it needed a charge but it doesn't seem to be getting it. I have it plugged in for charging.
Maybe it is kaput??!!
What does anyone else think? New mouse coming into my life?

Glasskuter - from what I read you use the trackball thing, yes? I should really get used to using it. I have been on computers for a looong time and that mouse gadget is what I have ALWAYS used. It certainly is acting squirrely... Thanks.

No trackball. Just cheap m325 cordless optical mice that are smaller to fit my hand better and a cheap logitech wired mouse to get me through in a tight.

I have never had a mouse fail. Except one old Logitech MX that was used to death and eventually had to stay corded.
My oldest one is an old Logitech MX Air Mouse/Pointer which I have had and still works and charges well, lives forever on a charge after 12 years. If you’re lucky, you can stil find one for around $300
