Windows update installed 22624.1465 on 3/16. I hadn't rebooted since the update but when I did, I could not connect to the internet. During my troubleshooting, I noticed that although I had connected to my WiFi, I hadn't received an IP address from my router. Further troubleshooting rewarded me with the message, "Windows couldn't automatically bind the ip protocol stack to the network adapter". I tried several things including resetting winsock and trying to reset the wifi adapter, but nothing worked. I tried to roll-back the update but I was unable to. I was successful in performing a system restore point to 3/16 pre update. Once restored, networking was restored. I am running an older Lenovo laptop (Y700-15ISK) with an i7-6700HQ (not a supported PC, I know), and an Intel AC 6280 running driver version 22.200.0.
Now that networking is back up and running, I am going to create another restore point and re-update Windows to see if I can re-create the issue.
