As stated, the calendar widget display is using Chinese characters instead of English.
It started several months ago ... after an update ... of course.
I don't have alternate languages set up on my PC.
It's not really important, just annoying.
Can I do anything to fix this?

Thanks very much for your very prompt reply! I don't use MSN widgets. I have most MS junk turned off. This calendar/clock widget is really the only one that I ever touch.
However, I did follow the directions in the tutorial and my language is already set to English. (see new image)
(I also discovered to my annoyance that I am logged into Windows, which I usually try to keep my PC disconnected from MS. - but that's a separate issue.) Just on the off chance that it would help, I noticed that I can sign out of MS on the widgets app, so I did that, too. No change in the calendar display, though.

我甚至不知道 Win11 里有日历小部件。我用的是众多可用免费软件中的一个:WinCalendar。

抱歉,必须这么说。

Good point Chef Duane. I used a translation app. ;-)
I don't have a special widget installed to use as a calendar.
This is the calendar that comes attached with the clock and usually sits on the bottom right of the taskbar in the system tray area. (image)

It's not a widget. It's just the tray calendar.

Have you looked in Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region?

I actually did this to myself recently. It's in the Date and Time settings (ms-settings:dateandtime). Under Additional settings, Show additional calendars.

Yes. I used the wrong term in my Thread title. I did not know it was called "Tray calendar". Thanks for that correction. Language and Region was set correctly Thanks Stigg!

pseymour, That worked, Thanks very much!

I did not add an Additional Chinese Calendar on purpose. However when I checked, it was showing in Date and Time Settings > Additional Settings > Additional Calendars. I have removed it. And all is back to normal.
Many Thanks to all who commented!
