My PC doesn't detect my webcam which is plugged in to a USB port. I've used it before but now it can't be found under Settings or Device Manager.

I could try it on my work PC. I don't know the brand (it's not on the webcam) so I can't check for drivers.

When connected, does it show up in Device Manager, even with an error symbol?

Have you tried adding it as a device through Settings > Bluetooth and Devices > Cameras > Search for Camera

Test it with all available USB ports on your device. Testing it on another device is an absolute must to help rule out whether it might be your computer or the camera?

If the Webcam shows up in Device manager, right on the Device, Select "Properties", Select "Details" Button and the drop down menu under Property select Hardware ids.
You can copy one of the Hardware Ids, Paste the Hardware ID into your browser type driver and search. If the Webcam has multiple Hardware IDs repeat if you don't get a result with the first ID.
