Can anyone recommend a PhraseExpress alternative?

I have been using PhraseExpress for several years but it has suddenly stopped displaying correctly. The function I used was having a small menu on the desktop that contained all my frequently used phrases such as address, phone number, email address etc. All I needed to do when filling in a form was to click and drag whichever phrase I required onto the form. However that menu has vanished from my desktop and I have tried everything in settings to get it back.
I am therefore looking for an alternative app with the same function. Can anyone recommend anything? (Or tell me what I am doing wrong in PhraseExpress).

CopyQ is worth a look IMO. It's Open Source, straightforward & 'free to use'; and does support 'drag and drop'.

Sorry, but I haven't used Phrase Express, so no idea what might be 'wrong' with your installation..

Been using PhaseExpress for years and there is no better alternative.

I never use that menu that you mentioned.

I set a phrase for example:

"Thank you for your email and for your interest in purchasing a computer from our company"

Then in the shortcut field, I type: thankyou

Now when I type thank you without a space, it automatically fills in that phrase
