Can not install the 2023-01 Cumulative update for WIN11 (KB5022287)

For a while now, this update keeps failing on one and only one of my PCs. I have tried all of the steps that have been recommended on various web pages (SFC, DSIM, clearing out software distributon, starting services, manually installing the update , etc). No go. it downloads, tries to install and fails withn error 080072712

Some Search pages that may have help:
Neither of my 2 Desktops [Pro and Home] have that showing in the Uninstall section of Windows Updates and isn't finding it.

I hadn't thought to look a the update history. Went back to the problem machine the KB number has changed from what I listed earlier. O my main computer, 2023-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022303) was installed on Jan 11.

There's been a bunch of Office 2010 which is not installed [Office 2007 is, still trying to figure that out] then before that in Dec.

That's because KB5022287 is for 21H2

Since the PC is Version 22H2 OS Build 22621.1105, how do I prevent windows update from trying to install the patch for 21H2?
