Cannot remove OneNote files from OneDrive

Windows 11 Pro X64 Version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.80
In the Home section of my OneDrive there are duplicate entries for a OneNote file that I deleted from my PC some time ago.
No matter what I try I cannot remove or access these entries.
Attempts to open them receive:-
Sorry, something went wrong
Item does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user.

and see if they are stored there

then if they are not on your system or within any of your files then they can only be haunting your system from online.
