Cant change Bing to Google as default search engine.

Windows 11 Pro - Windows 7 HP 64 - Lubuntu
Every time Edge is updated my added extension is removed and Google is removed and Bing is set as default.
I used to add Google as a search engine option and select it as default.

I manually added Google as a search engine

But on the pull down menu to select the search engine I only have Bing.

Any idea how to replace Bing by Google as default search engine?

I don't have MSEdge, but if I understood correctly after looking at the article for a minute, it's through group policies or manually through registry editing (script).

Specify Bing's search URL as:

'{bing:baseURL}search?q={searchTerms}'.

Specify Google's search URL as: '{google:baseURL}search?q={searchTerms}&{google:RLZ}{google:originalQueryForSuggestion}{google:assistedQueryStats}{google:searchFieldtrialParameter}{google:searchClient}{google:sourceId}ie={inputEncoding}'.

This is probably how you can add any search engine.

If you add at least one policy (any), only the DNS server set in Windows will be used.

You can lock it by policy, I use DDG, you can change it to Google. Or you can use an extension, which locks is the same way.

I finally found a way.
- I added Google with the string URL with %s in place of query
{google:baseURL}search?q=%s&{google:RLZ}{google:originalQueryForSuggestion}{google:assistedQueryStats}{google:searchFieldtrialParameter}{google:searchClient}{google:sourceId}ie={inputEncoding}

- Then under the three dots I fond the option to make it default

It is made in a way that a normal user will never find the way to change the search engine.

I'm getting tired of this sh**. Every time there is an update on Edge, ALL my configurations are lost, replaced by Edge defaults.
This means that my new tab is back to bing and my default search engine is also back to bing.
To have the default new tab back to blank i have to reinstall an extension.
The problem is that it doesn't accept a new google search engine. If I insert a google URL it says "website format is incorrect".
Even if I copy and paste the bing website it says it's incorrect.
In the video I try to save the default Bing website and it also say "website format is incorrect" It is Very convenient bug.
How can I add Google as my search engine?
