Problem solved. For anyone with the same issue that you can't seem to get to the bottom of, I found out that it was a specific MSI bios problem. There was a few updates that caused the BIOS in my mobo to not communicate/communicate poorly with my sound chip, causing Realtek drivers to not show in device manager and causing onboard and case audio ports to not function. Simply look to this thread on the MSI forums for a solution, there is a volunteer who has access to a BIOS fix.
