When i insert the SD card from my Nikon DSLR i cant view NEF files, anyone offer any help please.

Natively in Windows 11 Photos app- Right click on one of the photos, select more options, select open with, from the list select Photos, select always.
If you are using the old Windows 10 Windows Photo Viewer How to open .NEF file with Windows Photo Viewer - Microsoft Q&A
Optional - 3rd party app - Irfanview or Faststone Image Viewer.

It means that it adds CR3 support. I don't know if it included NEF support, but I'd expect it to.

Irfanview is what I run to convert the PDF colour to white. A lot of PDFs are an ugly yellow or dirty gray.

i believe its baked into the default installation.. but not positive as i dont use it. just researched it
