Changed local account name and disabled everything!

Okay. Fingers crossed.

OMG! I carefully backed everything up. That's what took me so long. But when I signed out, the old name of the computer did not come up but the new one I gave it (though I don't remember doing that!!!) and the Administrator option. When I entered the new pw, IT FAILED! BUT when I clicked on the new name it worked and I have access to settings, etc. So before I get myself into more trouble, is it safe to follow the tutorial for changing the name of the user folder? That still has the old name.

you'll still need another admin account to do so though.

Missed this one ... but am happily at the end and after running errand will change the user folder!
