Changing Default Windows System font

I have tried to change the default system font using regedit, following this tutorial

It did not work. Anyone got a working solution for the newest build?

'Advanced System Font Changer' by Wintools is still working for me on the latest update of W.11 ($17.95 for 3 year licence - 1 month free trial). Windows Update will sometimes return the font to the MS default but the program can restore the font type to the users preference in a couple of mouse clicks. A number of font types and sizes can be saved and used. Been using it for about a year now on windows 10 and 11. Seems good.

Winaero Tweaker can do it and it's free but whether it will work in Canary or not is to be seen. Folks need to understand that with each version of 11 some of the changes we've been able to do in the past may or may not be possible any more. Even if it is possible, the way of doing it may be different than with previous versions.

Agree. Even the "How To" posted by the OP alludes to that when it says...
At the time of writing in March 2021, neither Settings nor Control Panel has an option to change the default system font. This means that you need to rely on a registry hack to change your computer’s default font.

That said no answer to the OP's question as I've not had a desire need to change my system fonts and thus have never tried.

I use that and It works for a minute but seems font gets reset to default Font in a very short time. Ive given up.

I went back to the default font and applied it. The fonts changed as expected. Done just to make sure the program could change the fonts back to my own preference having applied the MS default. It did change them back. The preference was stored on Profile 1, so only had to click on that number and then click 'Apply'. This was done last night and the setting has been retained this morning. I don't know if this will work on any pre-release builds.
