Changing Desktop Icons'/Folders' backgrounds and or text in Windows 11

Actually a fascinating outcome. While the background of the ICON'S TEXT on the desktop get a translucent version of the color, the background of the COLUMNS is the full color. So as it says it is doing in QTTAB, this provides a background color to the COLUMN list of the files once an explorer window is open but does NOT provide the full opaque color as background to the ICON'S TEXT on the DESKTOP which is what I'm trying to do ...

How do I get it to be a virtually opaque color?

A selected item usually shows some sign of translucency, what happens when you de-select it?

What you saw IS deselected. It is always translucent NEVER opaque.

Light mode only. I don't remember if I said this, but the color shows up darker by making columns colored.

Winaero Tweaker can change the font.
On the left side: Advanced Appearance Settings> Icons
On the right side> Change icons font and choose a font that also includes bold.

I had trouble with QTTabBar. Here is a walkthru I did to get it to work with the help of Wintoys
