Dear and respected Eleven Forum users.

First and foremost i wish you all a good day and all the best,secondly i would pretty please you all to assist me on achieving my goal of changing Windows 11 start button to custom ones i like and just that everything else i would like to stay as is ,so if someone knows how can i accomplish my goal i would be very thankful for the assistance,help and navigation in getting the job done with someones , unreserved and above all kind help on this matter !

Click this LINK for the latest version, download the file OpenShellSetup_4_4_195.exe

I can’t tell you how to use it, I just remember that the option used to be available. But I believe in Openshell there is a tab called “Start Button” you might be able to achieve this in there.

Thank you for your swift answer ,and i will certainly give it a try but am kinda afraid it would not work cause of the fact that it would change a few things more along the way with the just start button icon like if i remember correctly from the last time i tried to do it ,it also changed the start menu to the narrow one we had to deal with in Windows 7 i think , and i for sure dont want that ugly start menu but once again i am very thankful for your kind, and swift insight in how to achieve my wanted goal of windows looking! You would have to go through the settings to ensure not to change anything else? I haven’t used it for a very long time, and now I use Stardock Start11v2

Pretty sure you have to use a taskbar replacement to alter the start button in windows 11.

Unfortunately i was right because OpenShell does not do the trick even if i followed Mr. AntsPants instructions to the letter,the Open shell leaves behind some unwanted really ugly stuff like the start menu which is from i believe windows 7 only with more customization options like glass this glass that blabla and i want to have a nice n clean Windows 10 start menu except the start button it self so i guess digging and researching for solutions goes on ,anyway as alwayys thank you very much for your kind help vis+a the inpu abd sugestins on how t do what i would like to do...Have a good one all,waerm regards,respect!

Dear and respected,

Please forgive my double posting but in previous post i just wanted to visually represent to you what i m stuck with and the OpenShell start menu is just plain hideous ugly and both unwatchable and unusable in my opinion and preferences with no insults to the taste and likes of others the one one the right is the one is would like to keep while having the option to put custom start button ! Guys does any of you know the specific and correct measures that custom start button should be in order to be fully visible,functional and in high resolution? Many many thanks for your unreserved,unselfish and above all kind help on this matter!
