if you use the original script, do you have ghost frames when set to 100%? that custom color i had set to larger sizing and set it to dynamically resize (downsize).
Yep. They're all the same.

Here's the Sniffer results, I don't know if they're pertinent or pointless or not...

is that w511 the width of the entire frame or just of the gui inside the frame? i can fix it. put your crosshair on the edge of the gui and lemme know what it's measurements should be for your screen

try this one. if it eliminates the ghost frames, i'll update the first post as it should be working correctly. if not i'll try something else

Just so you know, you needn't labor over this intensively on my behalf, I rarely use Al+Tab, I have over 10,000 pixels wide of Taskbar space!
I am, however, more than willing to test it for you.

lol no worries. might as well fix it now so its good for future development. ok i just caved and ran sharex portable inspector to make sure its good now. figured out what the issue was. i'll go back and fix the original posts' codes too. thanks for the testing.

1) let me know if your 2 diff resolutions still have errors too
2) thanks for the tool haha
3) i also figured out the fix to a small hiccup that was bugging me so its fixed now too. before it wouldn't launch centered the first time, but would every subsequent launch. fixed it so it launches centered on the screen with the cursor, even at initial launch.

just because you mentioned it, here is a ctrl+alt+tab .vbs i've had pinned to my taskbar forever. icon is there too if you want it.

All good with all dpi's at 100%! All frames are within the GUI.

ok let me get some info to replicate it with my test laptop:

what are the 2 resolutions you're using when different? what are the 2 scale settings you're using when different? thanks for the testing assistance.

gotcha. i'll work on it.

also - just did some more testing on my end. so i do need at least one of the ghost frames... so that it does not show the scroll bar when the number of icons goes off the visible gui. so you'll either have a slight ghost frame or a scroll bar... until i can get the dynamic expand working properly. see below (the one you have right now has the scroll bar once filled. the previous one i uploaded for you does not):

Still good.
None of the frames are outside of the UI.

I tried both displays at 125% on Laptop..., Nope!
All displays have to be at 100%!

My production machine is all good at 100% over all displays! (y)

ok. last test i'll post for today - the AltTabRound1:

set your separate DPI settings THEN launch this one and see if it works on all monitors properly. it still has issues when changing DPI while it is running, but lets test this first and see if it'll accommodate multiple scaling settings to begin with.

also - i attached your 3 row gold one without scroll bar if you wanted it.

Wait a minute...,
I had another go at it, suddenly it worked on different DPI.
The only frame that drifts outside of the UI is the placeholder frame...

Interestingly, Dexpot also has an Object Sniffer, and, I was able to make the UI transparent and 'Always On Top'.

That ghost frame is on purpose. It’s because the icons are actually in a listview segment and what I did was extend the listview width outside of the gui width just enough to make the scrollbar not visible.

here's your OnTop & Transparent custom color, just so you dont have to use other stuff to make it work right
