Old EFI Partition deleted when re-install Windows 11?

Did you want to recreate an EFI partition or did you want to clean install Windows 11 after backing up important files (reinstall applications and drivers)? Or something else?

Only if you manually delete it during the install process. Otherwise, chances are very great that Windows setup will detect an existing EFI system partition and upgrade the boot files located in it. Why do you ask?

If you reinstall windows, it usually kills dual boot with Ubuntu - you normally have to reinstall grub2.

Loads of guides on web how to do this,
