I yesterday for the first time ran a command from the command line after having booted off Windows 11 installation media. It was erasing every single block of the internal SSD, so that the laptop could be passed along to a new owner.
It started around 5 PM yesterday and ran into the night. In the morning the laptop had shut down.
Is this normal, or should expect to have seen a blinking cursor at the DISKPART prompt?
This would answer the question as to whether the command completed successfully, or whether this is an indication of a failure.
