computer freezes frequently and occasionally causes BSODs


I would have done a clean reinstall by now just to be certain it is not a hardware problem. That's me, take the easy way. :-)

Both BSOD on 06/24 had the same driver

Post clean install BSODs: 3




The current driver: 32.0.15.5585 can be monitored.


See if you can find a friend, neighbor, relative, or local computer store to swap test the GPU card.

There is no method to definitively confirm malfunctioning GPU without swap testing.

The malfunctioning component could also be the GPU port or motherboard.

See if you can find a vendor with a favorable return policy and restocking fee.

Possible additional information:

a) continue monitoring for unexpected shutdowns and restarts

b) check the motherboard for a second port for the GPU

c) contact Nvidia support

etc.

Your CPU has an inbuilt GPU Intel® UHD Graphics 750

Can you not just test using that one and remove the 3080 from the PC?
