Not surprising. ^^

It's the natural progression of people whose lives were once controlled by Facebook and X posts. Now they're controlled by AI bots. Who knows what's next?

If you are unfortunate enough to live in the cesspit that the UK is becoming then mandatory Digital ID is next. And no doubt swiftly following that will be Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) harbouring a drive to the end of cash. World is on a trajectory to immiseration for all, except the oligarchs and the stinking rich (of course).

Dissociate from... "which reality"?!

"The one shaped by the media?" At this point in history, everyone knows - a lot of people around them - who spread all kind of BS propaganda - they heard from the news. Doing that for so long - this people sound rather... detached from "objective reality" - for those who are actually familiar with the facts (simply, cause it's their field of work - and it's easy for them to tell - that news is BS). But you don't here any news crew - mentioning anything about the psychosis they create - which once upon a time - sounded like misinformation, now sounds like madness.

"How about the corrupt governments - and the psychosis caused to the people they're suppose to serve (but instead - they serve their own interests)?" Well, at least in this case - you hear about it all the time... mad societies everywhere - but it's something we're grown to accept (modern days societal madness).

Just some obvious examples. That being said - this people were already sick to begin with. A.i. is merely... competition.

It's just human nature and AI , even though it does have it's uses will just wind up being yet another downfall for us, people will just stop thinking for themselves.

Eat too much , you become disassociated to food
Watch too much porn, you become disassociated to sex

And the list goes on and on, humans by nature do not do anything in moderation and are just hell bent on their own destruction.

There is a difference between relying on AI for information or to automate routine tasks and having AI literally run your life.

People should know AI isn't the answer to all their problems.

Well, they don't make very good doctors either. Several people have already ended up in the hospital consulting the AI for medical treatments/purposes.

One example....

The man, seeking to eliminate table salt (sodium chloride) from his diet, consulted ChatGPT for an alternative. The AI suggested sodium bromide, a compound once used in early 20th-century medicines but now recognized as toxic and banned by the FDA for internal use since 1975.

A case study in a medical journal reported that the 60-year-old man replaced sodium chloride with sodium bromide after consulting the AI bot.

If this fellow had asked ChatGPT if sodium bromide was safe, he would have been told:

So, I guess after you ask ChatGPT for medical advice you have to ask another question: "Will your advice kill me?"
