Solved Connecting to remote Windows 11 machine with Rustdesk 1.3.0

Hello!

I use RustDesk to connect from my work Windows 7 32-bit PC to my home Windows 11 PC. I recently updated my home PC to Rustdesk 64-bit version 1.3.0 from 1.2.3-2. I also downloaded the 32-bit version of Rustdek 1.3.0 for my work PC and tried to connect to my home PC. I noticed a serious bug, I could not type anything nowhere! I closed the connection and connected again from the older 1.2.3-2 version, everything works as expected. In fact I am typing this post remotely from my work PC. I know I should report it at GitHub but I didn't want to create an account just to report something that might have already been reported. I post it here for other Rustdesk users to let them know. If anyone knows of some setting to fix it, please post. I have already tried both Map mode and Legacy mode in keyboard setting, no difference, I could not type with 1.3.0

Why not use anydesk or teamviewer instead - well supported tools?

TeamViewer, AMMYY and new versions of AnyDesk start warning when you connect too many times during the month and eventually lock. A good alternative is AnyDesk 6 or 7 which doesn't have a connection limit and unlike TeamViewer it can connect to newer versions of remote server. TeamViewer demands that you have the same version on both local and remote computer making older Windows XP/Vista/7 unable to support. Lately it even demands to create an account and login before connecting. No thanks. I use AnyDesk 6 or 7 that doesn't have a connection limit and have Rustdesk as backup. Pity Rustdesk doesn't work in XP.

For anyone interested, the issue is fixed in version 1.3.1 I installed RustDesk 1.3.1 64-bit in my PC (remote computer) and RustDesk 1.3.1 32-bit in my Windows 7 work PC (local computer). Now typing works OK. I noticed that in keyboard settings they added "Map Mode" which was removed in 1.3.0, maybe that was the issue.
