My account is an administrator account. (see Administrator Screenshot)
Memory Integrity within the Security App tells me that it can can only be switched on or off by an administrator, when I AM an administrator.(See Security App Screenshot)
How can I enable myself as administrator to have access to change the setting within the app.
I know that I can switch it on or off using the registry, but I just want to be able to do it in the app.
It is switched on, by the way.

Hi,
Actually MS is the administrator we're just pawn admins
AV can also be aggressive and block changes if you have them register with defender I know mbam pro blocks some security changes because defender kind of is disabled.

Might be also incompatible hardware safe guards on 11 kicking it limiting features :/

This is most likely the issue. @jameswesthead - what Anti-malware program(s) do you have installed?

Also, is the machine joined to a domain, or your own personal machine?

Thankyou for responding: I am using Kaspersky Internet Security and it is just a personal machine at home.
I am having trouble with Kaspersky. No matter what i do, it tells me that I should use hardware virtualisation for added protection.
It used to be sufficient just to set SVM on within UEFI. (I have an Aorus Master x570 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 3700X
I am also finding that enabling hardware virtualsation via the local group policy editor (gpedit.msc) does not persist beyond re-booting, according to HWINFO64 and Device Secirity, even though it is still shown as enabled within gpedit.msc when I do reboot. I am unclear what the Virtualisation Based Security "enable with or without UEFI loack does. I have set it to "without lock"
It is weird, and I have to go into UEFI and re-set SVM, secure boot and so on, then reboot
I am coming to the conclusion that I need to do a complete re-install of Windows 11.

Hi,
Yeah clean install without Kaspersky
Lok at the settings see if all is well
Then make a system image before installing Kaspersky then at least you have a way to cleanly get rid of the app.
