Looking for 2 things.

Win 10, for the Balanced power profile, you had a slider to go from better battery, to performance. Where did THAT get hidden?

Also when I click NOTIFICATIONS, the darn calendar always pops up. How can I make THAT stop?

These might be obvious and maybe I'm working too hard and my brain got mushy. :)

It's probably because I'm on a desktop pc that I have never seen the slider.I read somewhere that he slider had been removed. If that was official or not I can't say.

As for notifications, are you sure you're clicking on notifications and not on the calendar?Right now,I have no notifications to view so if I click in that area the calendar pops up.When I do have a notification to view, another tab appears next to the calendar,I click on that and the notification pops up.Are you sure that you actually have a notification to view?

Ok, yes, it's confirmed on laptops, the slider is gone. They buried it in settings as a dropdown. How stupid. :(

As far as the notifications, if I hover and/or click the counter, the notifications AND calendar both pop up. I can minimize the calendar, but it's still there EVERY TIME. An annoyance.

It's gone from being a slider to being a choice of 3 items.

System --> Power --> Power mode - your choices are as follows:

Yeah, I found it. How stupid. The slider was much more convenient.

Eh. Some would say otherwise - this way you only see the option that you are actually using at any given moment, so it's less confusing for some.

Others, like me, probably don't care - as we never use it to begin with lol.

Glad you found it though.

I'll live without it. My new laptop is friendly with Throttlestop and you can do the actual "hidden" performance and battery saver profiles with it. Always a "workaround". When I'm on power I don't allow it to sleep anyway. Only care on battery.

Indeed. I'm the opposite - I use desktops and go flat out on them, not letting them sleep (much, anyway). Hence my lack of need for that setting.
