My windows 11 is an upgrade from Windows 10, which was an upgrade from Windows 8.1. I have never set up bitlocker, and my Microsoft account has no recovery keys.
I'm concerned I might need the key one day if bitlocker kicks in for some reason (as happened to my wife's Win10). Can I create a key without locking a drive, and does each drive have a separate key.
