Hello,
I have a Surface Pro 11 running Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
I have a standard account with 'Custom User Interface' enabled in GPO. I'm using it to automatically launch a kiosk-style application using a batch script. I understand that Custom User Interface disables Windows Explorer. My main problem is that I need to be able to adjust the system volume while the application is running, and the disabled Explorer is preventing this. Specifically, I can't use the Surface volume controls. Is there a way to selectively enable certain Explorer components, specifically the volume control, while maintaining the Custom User Interface restrictions?
